-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Also, it is not just when VNC is started from the init.d scripts that this problem exists. If I go in with Kermit and kill that VNC session, making sure that all of the related processes owned by my uid are gone, then start it by running the following script, I get the same results.
vncserver -geometry 1575x1125 :9 Pretty simple, eh? Since there is nothing else going on at this point *but* vncserver (and stuff it invokes), I'm thinking that it is probably "at fault". If I log in on the console, I have my same environment, same windows, same tool bar, etc. The exception is that when I log in on the console, all of my bash shell windows have default SIGINT and SIGQUIT settings, rather than ignoring them.
