We are trying to compile TightVNC under Windows using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 (sp5). Whenever we open the workspace file it says that the WinVNC.dsp file is invalid and we should make a wrapper to it. Inside all of the included DSP files there is a message that says that "This make file is invalid, use Export Makefile command, and then build with NMAKE".
Why are these distributed if they are invalid? Does anyone have exact instructions on building this set of projects in MSVC6? I've tried for a few hours to do this. Please help!
