I am interested in using VNC from a Mac OS X client on a 12" G4 powerbook, 867 MHz, 640 MB, using Chicken of the VNC, to a 1.2 GHz Athlon, 512 MB, Windows 2000 system over 802.11b or 100 MB ethernet. The programs I want to run are CAD (graphic), CPU intensive and run too slow for VPC (12" G4 powerbook 867 MHz 640 MB).

Would I get any better results with VNC than using Virtual PC (w/Windows 2000). As you can guess I'm not thrilled at having to switch back and forth between 2 machines.

Would Windows 2000 Server with RDC be better?

Thanks, Don
