Rob, you might want to try the listening vncviewer on the client and then 'Add New Client' on the vncserver. if the vncserver behind the firewall has a NAT'ed IP address i don't think you'll be able to connect though without portmapping the proper ports [5800/5900/5500] to the correct internal IP. sounds like this is something the firewall admins probably would not do for you so good luck.
