Am trying to get WINVNC to work on a windows 2000 server platform, and going through the list I could find people with problems in a similar direction, but not exactly the same, in any case sorry if I dual post, I could not find a solution to the problem yet.
If on the machine itself, the administrator logs on, and runs the winVNC, then everything works fine. However as soon as a user logs on either locally or even remotely (using the terminal service client software) then if you log on with the VNC client, you get a black screen as a background, and a small square which seems to be acting as mouse pointer. Sometimes I do get the actual desktop background (there is no particular reason which makes this to work or not) but then I cannot do anything, the mouse pointer stays the small square and no matter where I click on nothing happens.
Any suggestions on what is going wrong here ?
The users normally have all access, except for full control on all the files within the realvnc directory and subdirectories/files.
Many thanks,
