Hi!

I've installed WinVNC 3.3.6 on a Windows XP Home computer to which I usually can connect with an VNC viewer (currently using KDE Remote Desktop Connection which is (should be?) VNC compliant).

The VNC Server is started as service during boot-up.
I've disabled the fast-user-switching functionality in Windows XP Home.

Now comes the wierd thing:
When a user is logged in I can connect to the WinXP machine, authorize via password and the VNC connection works perfect.
When I reboot the machine the service is started. But when I try to connect to the VNC Server I'm asked to enter a password - as usual - but the password is refused (although it's correct!)

I've read something about default passwords and user passwords, might this be an issue of two different passwords?
How can this be avoided?

kr,
Reinhard
