This is a problem that has been addressed before in this list, but I have been unable to find a definitive solution. I can successfully control a remote PC that's running without a keyboard and mouse, but it requires a monitor connected in order to boot. There is no option to disable this requirement in the BIOS. So, I'm looking for a way to fake my PC into thinking there is a monitor connected to my graphics card when there is not. Someone posted that you could jumper pins 4 and 11 on a Mac video adapter to achieve this, but I don't know if a PC monitor and a Mac monitor have the same connector and pin-out. Before potentially frying my video card, I thought I'd ask if anyone who has succeeded in doing this on a PC could share how it was done. Thanks in advance.
