RealVNC is pleased to announce a new public beta release of VNC 4.0. VNC 4.0 is a complete redesign of the VNC system, but maintains backwards compatibility with the old VNC 3 releases.
This release still omits a couple of features found in VNC 3.3. In all other respects it is not anticipated to differ substantially from the first full VNC 4.0 release. Beta 4 is believed to be stable on all supported platforms, resolving issues found with the Beta 3 release.
