Yup, it's me again with the Windows 2003 and VNC combo. I've got a problem and
would like to see if anybody has got it as well.
I've installed Symantec AntiVirus (SAV) Corporate Edition version 8.1 in a Windows
2003 which has already had VNC 3.3.7. I've found that the console reacts strangely:
* The mouse pointer on the screen doesn't follow my movement. Sometimes it's jerky,
that means it would stop in mid-way for less than one second and then go on.
Sometimes it will jump from one position to another. Yes, it's really a "jump", that
means the pointer disappears from a position to reappear in another position, just
like a spacecraft's got into hyperspace in movies (well, if you see the situation I
want to describe :-) ). And then sometimes, the pointer just wouldn't respond at all.
* The keyboard is sometimes generating rubbish characters and sometimes losing inputs.
Sometimes it's as if the Shift is held.
These symptome remind me of the BugBear virus but SAV can't detect anything at
all. That's why I'm asking if anybody has got the same config and encounters the same
problem.
TIA
Seak
