I am trying to configure tight vnc to allow desktop access to a RH 8.0
server. If I run the vncserver command as user: Root it works fine. When I
try to run vncserver as any other user, I get the following error message:
19/09/03 11:29:03 rfbInitSockets: listening for input on UDP port ***
19/09/03 11:29:03 ListenOnUDPPort: Permission denied
Note: *** represents the port number. I am not using the standard port numbers
for the vnc services.
Also is there a simply way to control the ipaddresses connections are
accepted from?
