I have installed VNC on my home PC. I have a firewall and I have opened
ports 5800 and 5900. I don't have a router.

On my work PC, using a web browser I type in my dynamic DNS domain name with
":5800" on the end and I am able to get to the "VNC Authentication" screen.
But when I type in my password and click ok I get
"Java.net.UnknownHostException:<my dynamic DNS domain name>".

If I do the same as above but with my IP address instead, I get
"java.net.NoRouteToHostException: Operation timed out" though this error
takes a few seconds longer to come up.

My web browser at work goes through a proxy I think, could this be the cause
of my problem?

Regards,
Minh
