I am using vncviewer in listening mode and I am trying to use a firewall
as a gateway to my clients workstations. The goal is to have client
initiated connections with my firewall where my vncviewer is already
connected with ssh. I want this so I can be anywhere and have clients
invite me in quickly to assist them. I can, then, ssh from within or
without my network to my firewall as needed. I have not seen references in
the docs or lists regarding this particular scenario.

The ssh stuff is working, since vncviewer acknowledged the connection, but
denies it and offers the "...loopback disabled ..." error message.

If, vncviewer cannot do this, is their any other way around this.
Currently, I am using putty as the ssh client on the windows machines and
OpenSSh on my firewall. I really want reverse connections, since I do not
wish to dial into their networks. I provide service and support to small
business and have kept the costs down on remote access using VNC with RAS
or PCA on a gateway machine where broadband is available. However, to
access the average workstation requires a connect to a gateway machine and
then to the workstation in question. Its doable, but slow when the client
is on the line.

I would welcome any help.

Thanks
