M router said the port was open yesterday, and now it's closed???? I
checked my router set up and it's saying the port forwarding is still in

if you want to test for VNC and many other services from the net,
      go to http://Scan.SimBox.NL (all OS)
this scanner detects your public IP and displays it also.

for most windows service/setup related trouble: http://vnc.SimBox.NL

if anyone knows any service that is'nt tested,
      send the port# to ' service-scan @ SimBox.NL ',
      and i will include it.
(must give something back with telnet)

      -----Oorspronkelijk bericht-----
I am can't get my vnc to communicate past the firewalls and/or router.
I am
using win xp proffessional, I have used the port forwarding option in
my
router set up, using port 5800-5900 and my computer's IP, but still no
luck.
      Any suggestions?
      Dawn
