I've installed VNC server on my RH9 server. Installed Ok, and seems to work fine, I just have a few questions. What is the default port VNC server listens on? I'd like to perhaps allow access through my firewall. Also, when I connect, it prompts me for the default password I created when I first ran it, but I want to be clear about what rights I have when I log in. If I installed VNC server as root (obviously), then when I log into a session on the server using VNC viewer I assume I am acutally logging in as root. If so, is there any way I can change that? Like so I could log in as my normal user account, and SU if I needed to do something....????
