Hi, I found the problem I am experiencing, but did not find any follow-up to this discussion? Just wondering if anyone had a fix?
I am using vnc-3.3.7-x86_win32 under Windows XP as the VNC server. I have tried x2vnc on HPUX 11.00 and VNC client on Redhat 9.0 as the client with the same result (see description of problem below). This only occurs if MS Word is my editor. I also have found that if I attempt to switch to a Word document or open Word, it returns control back to Outlook and starts working. This only occurs when I am connected to my XP box via VNC. Even if I get on the box locally, it is still hung until I open Word. I am using Outlook 2002 and MS Word 2002. Any tips on a fix, as opposed to the work around I have discovered, would be great.
