I have the ports set to the same as the 58XX.    When I type in http://bill
myftp.org:5901, I get the page cannot be dispalyed screen.

Hello Mr. Miller...

You almost got everything right..
What you didn't know was that vnc uses 59xx port. The java port 58xx is
only needed to download the java app, and do the signon.. (Which is why
you can only get so far!). After that vnc uses (even the java version)
uses the 59xx ports.

The short of it? You also need to redirect the 59xx ports...
