Hi!

All entries in the list concerning my pcAnywhere question are quite old and refer to
older
pcAnywhere versions, for this reason I ask this question again:

Is it possible to have both not only installed but work similarly:
- pcAnywhere 10.5 Host running with an active connection from one PC
- VNC Server running with an active connection from the other PC

Background of this question:
My customer has a Windows 2000 PC with my software (located in a server room) and is
working on this PC from the factory with a TCP/IP pcAnywhere connection which is active
24h a day. If I have to connect to the PC for troubleshooting reasons, my customer
always
has to close his TCP/IP pcAnywhere connection before I can dial onto this PC.

If it is possible that both pcAnywhere Host and VNC server have active connections,
then
I will replace either my or my customer's pcAnywhere connection by a VNC connection and
my customer does not always have to close his connection any more if I want to connect
there.

If the answer to my question is YES, what would the better solution: the permanent
internal TCP/IP connection via VNC and the external dial-up connection via pcAnywhere
(which I think is better) or vice versa?

Thanks for your help in advance,
