For each machine, 5800+displaynumber for the Java viewer and
5900+displaynumber (regardless of viewer).

Yes, if either your router can change the port, so that router:5900
points to machine1:5900 and router:5901 points to machine2:5900 or you
make sure that both machines are on different display numbers (you can
configure this option in the server) and just forward the appropriate
port to the appropriate machine.
