Problem: Getting the TightVNC Server up on Redhat 7.2 Background: I'm am dumb as a post about linux.
I have used the latest release of TightVNC to connect from Redhat to WIN2K viewer but I can't use the WIN2K viewer to see Redhat. It tells me that it can't find the IP that I gave the viewer. Clearly I have not done something right on Redhat. I have the "native" VNCserver starting on Redhat at boot. What do I need to do other than RPM the latest TightVNC to make sure the server is available on Redhat? (Why 7.2? That's too complicated. But it is necessary) Many thanks in advance.
