Howdy!

I have to take care of a Windows based network that is located far away. I
have installed RealVNC as a service on all the hosts in that network. I have
also installed "stunnel" to encrypt the connection between the client and
the server.

It happens that I cannot hold a connection to some of the hosts (e.g. Host1)
successfully. In case this happens, the password authentication takes place,
the password is being verified properly, and the screen begins to show up
(screen data is being transferred). Then, all of a sudden, the viewer
closes. No message is being displayed. If I connect to a different host
(Host2)in the same network (thus using the same WAN connection and the same
crypto tunnel), the connection can be established. If, while on Host2, I try
to run vncviewer.exe in order to connect locally to Host1, the connection
fails likewise, though this is a direct 100 MBit LAN connection between
Host1 and Host2. It sometimes happened that I could see the whole screen of
Host1 and also move the mouse for 2 or 3 seconds, and then the connection
dies.

I tried to find something in the FAQ or the mailing list, but couldn't find
a solution yet. Help will be appreciated.

Connection details (sometimes I'm fast enough to open these before the
client window closes again):
Connected to: Host1:
Host: 127.0.0.1 port: 5900 (This is because of STunnel)

Desktop Geometry: 1280 x 1024 x 32
Using depth: 8
Line speed estimate: 0 kbit/s
Current protocol version: 3.3

Current keyboard name: 00000407
