I guess I was hoping that since the Java viewer was running within the browser that the VM might inherit the browser proxy settings. Maybe that was too optimistic :-)
If not, perhaps support for running RealVNC through an http proxy would be a good idea for a future version? As a side question to this issue, I downloaded the source, however, I was unable to find the source for the java viewer in either of the source download packages. anyone know where this is? did I just miss it? Perhaps adding support for going through an http proxy would be doable.... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of William Hooper Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2004 10:24 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: HTTP proxy for web-based interface Calkins, David S said: > Using the native viewer would be simpler, however, I don't think it would > go through the http proxy. There is nothing different about the Java viewer with respect to proxies. It won't work through an HTTP proxy either. -- William Hooper _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
