Dear Alan,
As I stated in the first private email to you, I have disabled the xkb
extension. Now I'm desperately trying to make a new modmap with
xkeycaps. Perhaps a stupid question to ask but what am I supposed to do
if several DIFFERENT keys return the same ascii/keysym? How do I change
them?
For example, the button "D" and the button right of it "* '" give me the
same keycode 0x30 and keysym adieresis. This is not the only pair which
gives the identical codes.
