Cleared out the application log. No change.  Installed TightVNC Friday for
kicks. Set service to not interact with desktop. It worked until re-boot.
Now of course nothing.

        By default, application log's maximum size is 512kb and logs older
than 7 days are overwritten when needed.  If the application log is so
easily full, there must be something really wrong in the OS.

        OTOH, the "trouble-shooting" page in RealVNC website is too slim.
Only three Q&A!  It needs some updates, no?
