That would depend how tight/strict your school firewall is.  Does it just 
allow packets flowing through port 80?  Does it care if the protocole through port 80 
is http or not?

        Maybe you could configure your VNC server to use port 80.  Take a look at the 
DOC/FAQ to see how this can be done because I have no idea since I have never done so.
