I think I got the answer why this happens although I don't know the solution yet.

The root cause may be the Solaris version. The version I am using is Solaris 5.5. I've 
tried Solaris 5.7, 5.8 later, and it works quite well.

Although some people suggest me to use Tight VNC for its enhanced features such as 
Tight encoding, view only password, I don't like this product actually. Because I have 
few document to refer when I get trouble using it. I prefer the original and pure 
RealVNC. Waiting for the final VNC4 version.

Sounds like a bug in TightVNC, or in the Solaris build of it.  You might have more 
luck reporting this to the developer.

Alternatively, you might prefer to upgrade to VNC 4, of course.
