On the subject of funny colors, it would be be nice to get the version 4 unix
viewer to use truecolor, without having to change the system X server default,
for while that does fix the VNC color problem, it has some negative
consequences for some other X clients that I need to run.

When can we expect to see that change migrate into the release stream?

Also, will the final V4 source code for Xvnc once again include the integrated
Xfree server code?
