        Use the 3.3.7 ;-)

        If for some obscure reasons that you don't want to use this version, I'm 
afraid you have to search a little bit in the old version's doc to see if there's any 
similar registry stuffs

        On the other hand, for 3.3.7, it's possible to remove the system-tray icon by 
deleting the registry value vnc-something in this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

        I forgot how 3.3.5 worked .....

        You might also need to remove those shortcuts from Start menu.
