Okay, I am at home now and can troubleshoot my router better now.

I used VNC to remote into work. Now...can I remote back to my home computer using the
VNC Viewer at my work?

My home IP is 65.103.229.217

hi, i just downloaded the vnc program and it did work within my own network,
but heres the problem. firstly, i am in a router and i would like to view a
remote server my friend is hosting up but he too has a router which is the
same as mine but different isp provider. for instance, i would put in
192.168.2.xxx and it would not locate it. i am guessing is that the prgram
is looking within my own router. but my friend has the exact same
192.168.2.xxx. tell me in simple form how to connect to his computer, i am
not a techie so pls be very simple in explaining the solution. the router is
a SMC Barricade Broadband Router. Both of us has it.
