I have a Debian Linux Server running RealVNC 3.3.7 with 16bit colors on an Athlon XP 2600.
And a Win2k Pro running vncviewer 3.3.7 on a PII 400 with the video set to 1024x768x16.
When I switch desktops, scroll, or do anything that changes a lot on screen, the CPU usage goes to 100% on the client.
I'm using hextile encoding, but isn't there an RGB setting that might help with this? There seems to be way too much processing being done in the client.
