Yes you can a) add AllowProperties DWORD in registry to prevent editing and b) change the default password key. The password is encrypted but I assume you can enter the password you want on a PC and then copy it across.
This can all be done usually with REGEDT32 connecting to the remote computer. All this is in the docs.
