Sorry fo rthe newbie question - I've spent a couple of hours googling for an answer.

I've just setup Mandrake 10.0 (download ed.) as a server, and am attempting to setup VNC. I have VNC up and running, but when I cannot connect from my Win2K machine running RealVNC viewer. All the log file says is:

12/05/04 09:49:09 Rejected connection from client 192.168.2.192

From the Mandrake box, I can run TighVNC viewer and connect.

My newbie mind thinks from all I've read that this has something to do with xauth, but that seems to be for authorizing other X applications, which the RealVNC viewer is not. Or is it emulating one when connecting to *nix?

Thanks in advance..
