Hi My Mum's laptop has broke down, it appears only to be the graphics chip. While Remote Desktop Connection allows her to use it until she can see about fixing it, it ties up my computer which is inconvenient when I what to use it so what to use VNC as have a Linux laptop that is not used much. I want to keep the Remote Desktop Connection Open in case of a problem with VNC but need use VNC to login and use the machine. It won't let me turn off Fast User Switching remotely. I don't know much about remote control software. Could anyone tell me how to get it to work without me logged into Remote Desktop.
