Andy, VNCServer 4.0bx and 3.3.x can coexist on the same PC: the services will be named differently (VNC Server Version 4 and VNC Server or something similar, if I can remind exactly ). Be sure the two services listen on different ports (e.g. 5900 and 5901): otherwise the first service to start will lock the default (5900) port in exclusive mode.
