Hi I would like to connect with the pc of a private network that is linked to
internet through a pirelli router. Reading your mailing list I have to di the
port forwarding...but what are the port involved?
More over how can i write a rules about an ip, like mine, that is not static?

The router has a static ip, and though the virtual server I opened the doors
5800 and 5900, both redirected to 192.168.2.99, the pc where there is the
server installed.... But when I try to connect the program says me that has
not find the server or that it can connect to it... According to me this is
because the router has a firewall, in fact I tryed to configure also it but I
don't know if it's the right way? In firewall setting I've set that ips
0.0.0.0 with submask 255.255.255.255 from port 5900/5800 to port 5900/5800 can
enter and the destination is 192.168.2.99 with submask 255.255.255.0 from port
5900/5800 to port 5900/5800. (Protocol tcp)
But under this settings there is write:
______________________________________________________
Note:
If Ip = 0.0.0.0, addresses are ignored
If Wan = alias wan IP address
If From = 0 and To = 0, ports are ignored
If Protocol = IP, ports are ignored
_____________________________________________________

What this means? That I cannot connect?

Summaring....what I would like to do? Use remotely a pc appartaining to a lan
private network that is behind a router....

PS If tcp is the protocol for 5800/5900 waht are the ports for protocol upd?
