Hi all
I've been using vnc 3.3.7 until I installed 4.0 today. In 3.3.7 there was a wonderful feature called 'scale by x/x'. This was great because my server has 1280*1024 and my laptop (vnc client) has only 1024*768 resolution and I wanted to see the whole scrren at once rather than scrolling up and down and sideways all the time. Sure all the text are all squashed and hard to read when I do this but it's still pretty much readable and a lot better then scrolling the windows.
Looks like RealVNC team decided to remove this feature in 4.0. Or is it just me who can't find this option?
BTW, what is "allow dynamic desktop resizing" under "misc" tab in VNC Viewer Options? Is this what I've been looking for? (if so, please tell me how to use it!!!)
Server running Win2000pro and client winXPpro.
