Hi all... No responses... :-(
It's amazing how big of a pain this is. Copying stuff from a unix window to my windoze-based email client is now impossible. Is *anyone* else using a similar configuration? (winxp viewer, solaris server) Is anyone else using WinXP client with any unix and *able* to use the clipboard sharing? It would be nice to hear a success story, if no one else seems to be experiencing this same woe. I've tried this with the tightVNC viewer (win32) and run into the same problem, so I'm sort of suspicious of the server at this point. Or is there some magical security/authorization setting that I need? --Josh -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Josh Baudhuin Sent: Tuesday, June 29, 2004 12:58 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: clipboard interchange not working Just updated to 4.0 (after having used 4.0b4 for some time), and it seems now that clipboard interchange is not working. Client: WinXP Server: Solaris 2.8 I've twiddled the settings in the client and it still doesn't work. (I.e., the X clipboard and the windoze clipboard are independent. Hilighting in an xterm doesn't overwrite the clipboard in windoze with the selection, and copying text in windoze doesn't allow me to middle-mouse-button paste in that same clipboard.) Anyone else running into this? _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
