That makes sense... Sort of. Since we are running ICS from Microsoft, what we can configure is really limited...
I know that the "host" provides DHCP services... But don't know how to enable more features. We will be upgrading to XP-pro soon and hopefully that will be more configurable. We can't afford XP-Server as we have too many workstations that would need "Seats." Can you point me at any documentation on how to enable more of the DHCP stuff on Windows 2000 pro ICS to make VNC happier? Make sure you have tcp/ip protocols on each machine and that they can ping each other. You may need to configure DHCP within ICS, or use static IP addresses on the ICS subnet.
