There are serveral ways....

1)  Setup a port redirect for each pc on the router:
    5901->pc1:5900  (access via vncviewer router:1)
    5902->pc2:5900  (access via vncviewer router:2)
    etc

2)  Setup an ssh server, and allow access to it...
    This has the advantage that the traffic over internet is 
    encrypted....  Then you can setup tunnels...

3)  setup VPN...

4)  Have pc's connect to you
    Start a vncviewer on your machine in "listen mode",
    on the pc, have someone right-click vncserver icon,
    and add-new-client to you...

There are others, 
It would help to know if you are doing
remote user support, or remote maintenance, 
or what ever...
