Yes, I have noticed a problem. When I use Terminal Services (Remote
Desktop is just a single user incarnation of Terminal Services per MS) I
cannot authenticate via VNC (connects okay but gets an error on
authentication - I posted the error to this forum a while back but got no
responses). The error is consistent and only happens in the scenario
where I use Terminal Services and then try to connect to the same computer
with VNC. My workaround has been to use TS exclusively (it does the same
as vnc bit it is pretty feature richer) to connect to XP machines and use
VNC for non-XP machines. You can do the same since I think anything you
can do with VNC you can do with RDP.
