Hello all,

I'm trying for several days now to integrate the vnc extension module
into my X (4.3.0), but it wont start (or at least it doesnt open a port).
It cannot connect to it, neither from the local network, nor from the
machine where it should run itself.
Maybe I just put the options into the wrong sections of my XF86Config?
When I put them into the Screen or Device sections, X will complain in the
Logfile and say something about "Option "passwordFile" is not used", the
same with all the other options. The only section where it seems to work
is the ServerLayout section.
At least it loads the extension vnc:

(II) LoadModule: "vnc"
(II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/vnc.so

Nevertheless, I can't connect to the computer, I tried both ports (5900
and 5901), from another machine and from a locally running xserver. The
attempts always stopped with a simple "Connection refused (111)". "Normal"
connections to a normally started vncserver (which then is usually on :1)
work, locally and remotely.

Probably I've just missed a very simple thing, but I still think that it
might be a good idea to publish a working XF86Config somewhere, this might
help a lot for many people.

Thanks in advance, Daniel
