Yeh, what I mean is that the VNC Server Service crashes, bombs, shuts-down, stops. It's just not running anymore in XP. It has to be restarted.
Heh, I guess I should have put that in the first email :) I'm using VNC 4.0 (built on June 15, 2004) for Win32 (server and client) on all machines. Also, all machines are running Windows XP Professional. After it crashes/stops running, you can't connect to it at all. If you go to the computer that the service stopped on, all you have to do is restart the service or reboot depending on your Windows acumen :) Cheers, Damion -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of James Weatherall Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2004 9:37 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: Disconnected, can't reconnect When you say "can not make the connection again", what do you actually mean? What are the server & viewer versions and platforms? How many times have you tried unsuccessfully to connect & have the error messages always been the same?
