Help! I've just upgraded two Windows XP computers to version 4.0 from version 3.3.6. Before the upgrade, the java viewer worked perfectly on both. Now, when I try to connect to either computer from a browser using the http://???.???.???.???:5800 syntax, there is no response from either server.
If I use the viewer to connect, both work fine. On the connections tabs, the "Serve java viewer...on port: 5800" is checked. Have I missed a step on the upgrades? Of interest, maybe, is if I try to connect through a browser using port 5900 instead, the response I get is "RFB 003.008 ". Any help/ideas would be appreciated. I've looked at the FAQ and searched the mail list archives and I haven't seen any problem such as mine.
