Hi all.

I have a stock version of vnc on Red Hat 9.0 (vnc-server-3.3.3r2-47).
I have configured it for a user "user" and started the server from the
command line as "user". I can connect to the server with vncviewer but
can only see the user's desktop. I need to be able to see the current
running apps and have control of the "user" desktop as well.

Do I need a latter version of vnc or just some more configuration?

This is the process currently running:

29453 pts/6 S 0:00 Xvnc :1 -desktop X -httpd
/usr/share/vnc/classes -auth /home/user/.Xauthority -geometry 800x600
-depth 8 -rfbwait 120000 -rfbauth /home/user/.vnc/passwd -rfbport 5901
-fp unix/:7100

Thanks in advance for any help.

Doug.
