I've been trying to change the configuration settings from command line, but I never succeeded. Somehow, the information given in the program usage was also not that clear as to how to specify those parameters values. In the program usage it was written: <setting>=<value> I tried to change password and other configuration settings from command line and I used this command: File_directory> winvnc4 -register DisableOptions=1 Password=test PortNumber=5902 After I pressed enter, the status said that the service was register successfully. However, when I then invoked a starting command as given below, I got an error message as shown below: Starting command: File_directory> winvnc4 -start Error message: Main: unable to start the service. The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. At later time, I tried to changed the password and other parameter settings using this command (coz it was written '<setting>=<value>' in the program usage): File_directory> winvnc4 <DisableOptions>=<1> And I got the following error message: "< was unexpected at this time" Could anybody help or show me the way to change those parameter settings from command line for vnc server version 4.0??
