Okay, The very fist two computers I installed RealVNC on it worked perfectly. For
both the LAN connection and via Internet connection. I installed the first computer
using all the default settings and ports 5900 and 5800. For the second computer I
used 5902 and 5802 and it worked. I could connect to each one using the viewer and I
could connect to them from a link page I had posted on my website.

I called a a coworker of mine and asked him to try and connect to one of my computers.
He couldn't because a this range of ports is being blocked. So we thought to change
the port numbers to something else that was maybe in a range that wasn't blocked. I
changed the numbers to 9001 and 8001. My coworker tried again with no luck.

Now the trouble begins. And yes, I had reconfigured port forwarding in my router and
the webpage links, to the new port numbers. Anyways, I tried to connect and I now I
get "RFB 003.008". I've uninstalled and re-installed RealVNC with the same results.
I've upgraded to Java runtime 1.4.2. For the RealVNC uninstall I personally went
through the registery and removed anything that had to do with RealVNC in case there
was a setting not being removed.

Now here's the real pain in the ares part. I installed RealVNC on a different
computer that is not part of my work or home networks. When I try to connect to it
from home I get the now infamous "RFB 003.008".

Any ideas on how I can RealVNC working again?

Thanks

Robert
