Would greatly appreciate assistance for a newbie, senior citizen. This is what I presently have: Two XP home edition PCs - patch cable connected to the internet via a cable modem and a Netgear RP 114 gateway router. I only use the router setup for sharing Comcast internet - not for file or printer sharing.
This is what I would like to do: Allow one machine to be the server and the other the client in such a way the the client machine can view what is being done on the server machine - as in consentual evesdropping - so that my wife doesn't have to stand over my shoulder or sit beside me to see what I am viewing and/or doing on the server. Can this be done with Real VNC? If so would some kind soul walk me through a simplified install/setup/configuration.
