I am new to Linux and Unix... need help! I am currently using DELL P4 machine with 7.3 version of Redhat Linux. and have been able to connect to internet via ethernet connection.
Next, I am trying to make TightVNC work on this Linux machine as server. I downloaded the server rpm from tight VNC web site. tightvnc-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm tightvnc-server-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm It seems I somewhere made a mistake in installation, as I understand I do not have to build/compile as there is rpm available for Linux. Does someone has step by step process what one has to do to properly install and run the Tight VNC software. I will greatly appreciate it.
