The part was a bit confusing to me too. But after speaking with some of our local
JAVA gurus, they explained it to me based on teh RealVNC documentation.

The RealVNC Server is what "pushes" the viewer to a JAVA client. So all you do is
install RealVNC on a machine. Then connect to it from a web browser, the Server
running on the machine will "push" the JAVA viewer to you and it will open a login
box, then the remote desktop will show within a browser window.

You can create an HTML page and put it on a website, then you can link to the server
from anywhere in the world.
i.e.
<a href="http://your_ip_goes_here:5800";> My Home Computer</a> (assuming you left the
JAVA server port address on 5800)
