Ernest,

You should contact RedHat regarding the Xvnc process crashing - they will
almost certainly have applied patches to Xvnc rather than simply providing
the standard VNC binaries.

As has already been suggested, closing the vncconfig clipboard helper (or
unticking the clipboard management options) may help, and will at least 
help
diagnose whether this a clipboard issue.

The problem described by Bill involves Xvnc closing the viewer connection,
but not actually crashing, I believe.
