fine. This happens on windows 2000. It does not seem to make a difference if I come in via
java or a client. The client can be linux or XP. I bring up a command window and delete [ backspace]
deletes a whole word at a time and keys don't seem to echo at all. I tried shifting and caps lock. Nothing works. I rebooted one of my machines and it seems to be fixed. However I am looking for a fix not so
drastic.
